Stories of War stands proudly anchored within the Fortitude
family as a non-profit documentary cornerstone where
rigorous historical research meets raw human truth.
Through carefully crafted short films Stories of War, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, illuminates the intimate narratives of those who've walked through war's shadow – veterans, civilians, survivors, and their families.
Each documentary piece emerges from Erin's signature approach - meticulous archival investigation woven with deeply personal storytelling, transforming historical documents and weathered memories into living, breathing testimony. Erin journeys beyond statistics and into the hearts of those who endured. Her commitment to authentic storytelling is matched only by her dedication to honoring the trust of families who share their most precious memories.
The documentary shorts illuminate the intimate moments of courage, loss, and resilience that define the human experience of conflict, and bring to life the stories that might otherwise fade into history.

Stories of War is where research meets revelation, where history finds its
heartbeat, and where stories of war become bridges to understanding.
Our films don't just tell war stories – they reveal the weary hands of the soldiers who wrote home, the quiet courage of the wives and mothers who waited - and their children who carry their legacy forward.
